In depth coverage
Each course aims to provide in-depth coverage of the subject matter thereby helping to ensure proper understanding of the relevant requirements and most crucially, what they mean in practice so that proper controls and procedures can be instituted. Compliance is not a subject that can be taught properly using flashy sound bites and short ten-minute videos.
Developing Real Understanding
Testing of real understanding cannot be done by simple yes/no answers and multiple choice questions – these methods are only suitable for awareness training. At the practical level, compliance is not a simple matter of giving a yes or no answer to a simple question, for example, is there a rule about this. The correct answer can only be determined within the context of a firm’s business and what is the reason behind the question. Our courses instead feature testing of your knowledge, application of that knowledge and skills using carefully crafted case studies featuring simulated real-life scenarios.
